I have been putting alot of thought into how I/we the community might be able to help save our school by volunteering in different ways to save costs and save tax dollars. A couple of ways I thought of was volunteers (there are 5 in my family alone) that would be willing to shovel/snowblow off the roof as needed. That would save possible damage and costs for hiring someone to do it if we have hard winters like this one has been.

There are many ways to volunteer - such as kitchen help, janitorial, office help, library help, bathroom cleaning, mowing of lawns/fields. I know there are many older citizens that would love a little something to do to feel useful and it would cut costs - therefore save school tax dollars.

The other benefit to volunteering and working together is that it would bring our community back together like it used to be... I feel we have become a divided community and we need to join together. If we work together and all use our our skills we will be a proud community too!

I would like some feedback. I myself have volunteered many hours and am willing to volunteer many more to help save our school, save in school taxes and bring our community together.
